Don’t ever let opportunities pass you by or something special might be missed.
This past weekend I got to visit Maine for the first time and teach a clinic on how to correct biomechanics can help our Ranch riding skills and training.
We had fantastic weather and wonderful people and horses! It’s lovely to teach an open-minded group as a lot of what I taught and how to apply it was new to the Western discipline world. And it was lovely to see how much each person cared for and wanted the best for their horse and to help their horse move and use themselves correctly.
I love teaching and what I was able to teach is my heart and where I’m going with my knowledge and my work and I was blessed to be able to be able to share it with others.
I had a wonderful hostess in Lauren DeMerchant-Brown and her family. They fed me well and I got to try moose and crack open my first fresh lobster!
I also got to have the freedom of overcoming my fear of flying and I can tell you it’s a pretty awesome feeling.
Thank you all for having me. And just know, I always learn myself when i come and teach clinics as you all and your horses teach me as well. I learn how to explain things a different or new way or how to break it down differently for others to understand it or many times walking others through experiences helps me understand better how it works and I still have “light bulb” moments.
It was a fabulous weekend and I hope to visit again in the future!!
